Signing up
We only send marketing text messages if you have actively opted in, for example by ticking a box or submitting a form that clearly says you’ll receive texts from us. When you sign up, we’ll send one message confirming your subscription. You don’t have to agree to receive texts in order to buy from us or book a session.
What we send and how often
We send marketing and informational messages, such as event dates, Rayoscan session availability, offers and company news. How often we send them varies. We may change the frequency, and we may change the number or sender name the messages come from.
Costs
We don’t charge you for receiving our messages. Your usual network rates may apply, and your mobile provider can tell you more. We’re not responsible for messages that are delayed or not delivered by mobile networks.
Unsubscribing
Every marketing message tells you how to opt out, either by replying STOP or by following an unsubscribe link. We’ll send one final message to confirm, and after that we won’t send further marketing texts. You can also opt out at any time by emailing contact@rayonex.co.uk. If you’d like to receive messages again later, just sign up again.

Changing or passing on your number
If you change your mobile number or pass it to someone else, please reply STOP from the old number first, or email us with the old number. That way messages don’t go to the wrong person.
How we use your data
When you subscribe, we collect your mobile number and any details you give on the sign-up form, such as your name. We use them only to send the messages you’ve asked for. Our legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Our messages are sent through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Mailchimp may store data in the United States. Where it does, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards under UK data protection law.
We will not sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We keep your number on our SMS list until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a minimal suppression record so we don’t message you again by mistake. Your rights to access, correct or erase your data are set out elsewhere in this policy.
Changes
We may change or end our text messaging service, or update this section, at any time. The current version will always be on this page.
